We started this because our housemates kept knocking

Balli Balli Seoul grew out of something very concrete: we run coliving houses in Seoul, shared homes where foreign residents and students live. When you live under the same roof as people new to Korea, you become the default fixer — the person they find when the drain clogs, the checkout page won't take a foreign card, or something needs cleaning, explaining, or arguing about in Korean. We did that, over and over, for years.

Building those houses taught us the other half of the job. We renovated them ourselves — working side by side with the wallpaper crews, flooring installers, carpenters, and electricians who actually keep Seoul's homes running. That's where our network of tradespeople comes from: not a directory, but people we've stood next to on real jobs. And it's where we learned exactly how much of this world runs on Korean phone calls, Korean apps, and knowing who to ask — which is precisely the part that's closed to you if you don't speak the language. Balli Balli Seoul is that access, opened up.

How it works

Message us on KakaoTalk or WhatsApp — in English, with photos of the problem. KakaoTalk is the one we prefer: it's what the plumbers, locksmiths and cleaners we call are already using, so your photos and address go straight through to them instead of being retyped between apps. WhatsApp is just as welcome if that's what you have. Asking costs nothing — you pay only for the work you book.
We diagnose and quote. We tell you what it is, what it should cost, and what the options are. The price is confirmed with you in the chat before any work starts.
We handle it. Depending on the job, we either take care of it ourselves or send a specialist from our network who's good at exactly that work — while we stay in the middle, in English, from start to finish.

And it's not only repairs. If what you need is an errand — something bought, filed, picked up, or sorted out in Korean — we do that too.

Our fee is built into the price we confirm with you — kept at a reasonable level, agreed before work starts, with no surprises after.
